Karl Frey
Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine

Karl Frey graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health with master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He then went on to complete his doctorate at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts receiving a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Karl’s passion for acupuncture stemmed from his interest in alternative healing therapies.

Karl chose acupuncture specifically because of its long tradition dating back thousands of years and its acceptance today even amongst the toughest critics. Karl’s style of acupuncture is influenced by several world-famous practitioners with those ranging from Master Jeffrey Yuen, Master Tung, and Giovanni Maciocia.

Acupuncture is extremely effective for back pain, neck pain, sciatica, women’s health and regulating menstrual cycles, neuropathy, tinnitus, headaches, digestive issues and many other conditions that other therapies struggle to treat.

Dietary Therapy from a Chinese Medicine view also allows Karl to present dietary plans that are not commonly discussed in the west and is based more on the thermal nature of the food and how that can benefit patients.
