Aloha Friends! Recently I heard about a charity organization called - I Support The Girls - & decided that I would like to start a donation and collection drive to support this organization, women and girls.

I Support the Girls collects and distributes essential items (that cannot be purchased with food stamps), including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women who are homeless or facing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.

I am asking for Donations of unopened packages of menstrual pads and tampons, unused shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, clean unused face towels, washed clean bras and unused new packaged underwear, face masks and hand sanitizer.

If you are local Hawaii - donations can be dropped off during business hours at Abundant Life Natural Foods in Hilo town. Or call 808-769-0294 (Michelle Bevell - Hilo) to arrange a meetup for drop off.

We've got Durian ice cream in the shop again today. There's only enough for a gallon of scooping, but don't fret, the bought the everything else before it came out of the machine and will be available from them next Friday!
