Thank you Governor Kay Ivey! Bringing awareness is so important to the communities we serve.

Thank you, Governor Kay Ivey, for proclaiming September as Sepsis Awareness Month in Alabama! 🩺

Sepsis is a life-threatening response to infection, but early recognition and treatment save lives. This proclamation raises awareness of the signs, such as fever, rapid heartbeat, breathing difficulties, confusion, or extreme pain, and underscores the importance of education and collaboration in improving outcomes.

Together, we can save lives through greater awareness.
