We had a total of six students from surrounding schools that were able to participate in our Junior Volunteer Program this summer. These students worked with our staff in various departments. We enjoyed them so much and can’t wait to do it again next summer!

We also want to Thank Mayor Ken Sunseri and County Commissioner David Cummings for coming out to support these students at their graduation ceremony from the volunteer program!

We are excited to introduce one of the warmest and most welcoming members of our team - Charity Brasher, our amazing Scheduling Specialist here at Lakeland!

Charity has been a part of this community her entire life, and she bring that same hometown heart to everything she does. She's the cheerful voice on the other end of the phone, helping ensure you and your loved ones are scheduled with care and compassion.

Outside of work, Charity is a proud wife and mom to two beautiful girls. She lights up every room she enters and brings joy to everyone she meets - patients and coworkers alike.

Our Swing Bed Program, commonly known as Inpatient Rehabilitation, provides extended care for patients discharged from any hospital following an acute illness, new on-set diagnosis or other situations that require extra care.
Our Swing Bed Program eases the transition from acute care to home by providing patients with access to highly trained and caring medical professionals. Please call 205-485-7370 if you have further questions.

Lakeland Senior Care is a behavioral health program for patients age 55 and older that offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for psychiatric disorders and management of medical conditions. Our program is based on a foundation of dignity and respect for senior adults that may need inpatient treatment.
Signs and Symptoms that may indicate a need for treatment: Depression, feelings of hopeless, suicidal ideation, increased confusion, difficulty concentrating, showing resistance or aggression towards family or caregivers, refusing to take medications, excessive fears, anxiety, suspiciousness, hearing voices and seeing things that others may not see or hear.

Morgan has been a vital part of our team for 6 years, and her dedication shines through in everything she does. From helping patients navigate billing issues and financial assistance, to providing top-notch customer service and ensuring smooth patient access experience —Morgan does it all with compassion and professionalism.

Outside of work, Morgan is a loving mom to two beautiful babies ❤️ and cherishes every moment spent with her family and friends.

Say hello to Khloie Marshall (left in the photo), our amazing Patient Access Representative – Outpatient here at Lakeland Community Hospital!
Khloie joined us almost a year ago, and she’s already made a wonderful impact. She handles all aspects of outpatient patient access, including registering patients, assisting with scheduling, and welcoming everyone who walks through our doors with a warm and friendly smile. Her attention to detail and kind demeanor helps set
the tone for a positive patient experience right from the start.

Outside of work, Khloie enjoys fishing with her husband, loving on their dogs and cherishes time spent with family and friends.
