Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) grown organically from Strictly Medicinal Seeds. These plants are well establish. I highly recommend planting in a pot or in an area you do not mind this spreading, because it will spread easily and swiftly.

Valerian blooms in summer with light white/pink/purple flowers. The root has is considered mildly sedative and in used in calming teas or as a sleep aid.

Always research plants and herbs before deciding to ingest them.

Symphytum officinale, also known as comfrey or knitbone. This Common Comfrey Plant is grown from seed from Strictly Medicinal Seeds and organic soil. These are mature plants.

Comfrey is a gardeners friend and does well in the garden, can be grown to make a compost tea for your tomatoes, or leave comfrey leaves around your tomatoes and other veggies, or grown to use in your handmade salves.

Highly recommend researching this plant well before using or consuming it internally as the plant contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs), which can potentially cause serious damage to the liver when taken regularly internally. This is controversial but I wanted to make people aware before they buy.

First beautiful sunny day today and I’m not even mad that I got bit in the face by some flying gnats while feeding my goats. Cheers to seeing teenie tiny growth on funky herbs that some people have never heard of! 🌿
