Acne is a struggle….. WHY, you ask!?

Dealing with inflammatory acne is not a easy thing and can be challenging for many people at all ages because it is a struggle of a few elements:

💧Acne Scars: Acne scars are the result of inflammation of acne blemishes. The skin’s response is to repair the scar by forming new collagen fibers.

💧Open Pores: are small openings on the skin’s surface where hair follicles reside. They can appear larger due to excess oil production.

💧PIE: is a red, pink, or purple mark on the skin, often caused by acne.

💧Pustule: a type of acne. Pus-filled lesions. They’re red at the base and white or yellow at the top.

💧Cyst: a type of acne. Cysts lie deep within the skin. They’re painful, full of pus and are most likely to scar.

💧Blackheads: are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles

Do not mistaken this skin condition with acne!!
This is Acne-Like resulting from sever rosacea.

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes flushing or long-term redness on your face. It also may cause enlarged blood vessels and small, pus-filled bumps. Some symptoms may flare for weeks to months and then go away for a while.

Rosacea can be mistaken for acne, dermatitis or other skin problems.

In acne, the pore swells and becomes a whitehead. In rosacea, it’s less visible because the swelling occurs just beneath the skin. Infection isn’t present in acne rosacea.

Acne condition has such an emotional impact on each person that has to deal with it. Really effect self esteem and can lead to depression that makes it hard to deal with.

It can appear in any age for several reasons. But, it can be treatable. First step is to kill all the bacteria resulting from inflated acne, reduce the PH balance of the skin, reduce the over production of sebum in the hair follicle, and treat wide open pores. The acne usually will dry fast , while the last part of the treatment is treating the post acne scars.
