Our communities are failing; those dealing and producing illicit drugs don’t mean well for our current and future generations. We should muster the courage to stand with our families and friends to ensure their lives are not lost due to illicit drug abuse and addictions. MLK said, “our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” It matters to us that our families and friends are dropping out of school, living homelessly, having no food to eat, no shelter, no skills, and worse of all, dying due to the abused of illicit drugs everyday.
