📢 Important Notice for SNAP Recipients & Supporters

Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits are at serious risk of being delayed or suspended beginning November 1, 2025 unless Congress passes funding and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) releases further guidance.
Here’s what you should know and what you can do:

💡 What families should know
•Your October 2025 SNAP benefits are expected to arrive as usual. Newly approved payments for October have already been funded.
•However, if the shutdown continues, November benefits may not be issued until federal funding is restored. Many states have warned of this possibility or have already paused benefit issuances.
•If your state does pause payments, you may still get retroactive payment once funding resumes—but the timing is uncertain.
•You can still use any remaining balance on your Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card from earlier deposits.
