Bring Joy to 100 Families of Precious Preemies

The Art of Becoming LLC, in honor of our 3rd anniversary, is hosting a “Precious Preemie” fundraiser. We are asking for donations of preemie clothing items (onesies and sleepers) or any funds and resources that you can contribute. All proceeds will go towards Howard University Hospital's (HUH) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The funds raised will not benefit the Art of Becoming; however, we want to give back to an organization, a group of nurses that have touched us so dearly, and families in need.

As many of you know, we recently adopted a beautiful baby boy born prematurely, weighing 5 lbs and 5oz. Other preemies were born then, too, and the NICU only had garments that would fit a 3-month-old and a 6-month-old. All newborn clothing items had our precious one swimming in his clothes. But it wasn’t until we had preemie attire that his clothes fit perfectly, and we could care for him in the best way.

After speaking with the nurses in the NICU, preemies are frequently born there, which leaves some without attire that fits them perfectly. We want to pay it forward and bless HUH NICU families.

We want to bless 100 families with preemie attire. We will give all proceeds and donations to HUH NICU on Mother’s Day 2023. Will you join us to bless these families?

✨Your becoming experiences can be difficult if your response focuses on what you cannot control. Make the change to focus on what you can control.

✨You have the power to make the change!

✨Begin speaking to your future of where you are going, not where you’ve been!
