We’re so excited to celebrate one of our own, Sara Snyder, today as we shower her with love and celebrate the upcoming arrival of her newest family member. This is such a special and meaningful time, and we’re grateful to share in the excitement with her.

We also want to take this opportunity to express how much we appreciate everything Sara does at Elevate Mind. Her dedication, compassion, and contributions have such a positive impact on both our team and the individuals and families we serve. We are incredibly thankful for the care, energy, and support she brings each day.

As she prepares for this new chapter, we hope she feels supported, celebrated, and surrounded by people who are genuinely excited for her and her growing family.

The tacos are great—but the real celebration is connection.

Cinco de Mayo is often seen as a day for food and fun, but at its core, it marks resilience, culture, and community. Those things matter for mental health more than we sometimes realize.

Feeling connected—to people, to culture, to something meaningful—can protect against stress, burnout, and isolation. Even small moments like sharing a meal, laughing with others, or learning about a different culture can shift your mood and help you feel more grounded.

If today feels busy or overwhelming, take a moment to slow down and notice something meaningful around you. It doesn’t have to be big to matter.

At ElevateMind, we focus on helping people build those kinds of connections in their everyday lives—because mental health isn’t just about getting through the hard moments, it’s also about creating more moments that feel worth being present for.

What’s one small way you can connect with someone today?

“May the 4th be with you”… but what happens when your energy isn’t?

Even the strongest people have days where motivation is low, stress is high, and it feels harder to keep going. Mental health isn’t about being “on” all the time. It’s about learning how to respond when things feel off, heavy, or out of balance.

Taking care of your mind is its own kind of strength. That might look like setting boundaries, asking for support, or simply giving yourself a break without guilt.

At ElevateMind, we believe support should feel approachable, steady, and real. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, burnout, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

What helps you recharge when your energy feels low?

The pace of life doesn’t slow down on its own—but stepping outside can change something in you almost immediately.

Today is Earth Day, and at ElevateMind, we’re taking a moment to recognize how closely our mental health is tied to the world around us. Even brief time in nature—fresh air, sunlight, a quiet walk—can help reduce stress, improve mood, and create a sense of calm that’s hard to find indoors.

You don’t need a big plan. Sitting outside for a few minutes, noticing the sounds around you, or taking a short walk can be enough to reset your day in a meaningful way.

At ElevateMind, we often talk about small, consistent steps that support mental wellness. Getting outside is one of the simplest places to start.

How are you spending time outdoors today?

Even Meryl the Pokémon is working on communication skills… 👀

Learning how to communicate clearly, set boundaries, and handle tough conversations is a skill—and it’s one most people were never actually taught.

That’s where DBT comes in.

Our DBT Skills Groups starting in April focus on practical tools you can use in real life—whether it’s with family, relationships, or work.

If Meryl can learn it… you probably can too.

What if managing emotions, stress, and relationships was something you could actually learn?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based approach that focuses on four core areas:
• Staying present in the moment
• Regulating emotions
• Handling stress more effectively
• Communicating clearly with others

At ElevateMind, our DBT groups are designed to be practical and applicable to real life. Each session includes:
✔ Learning new skills
✔ Breaking them down in a way that makes sense
✔ Practicing how to actually apply them outside of session

This isn’t just talking—it’s learning tools you can apply right away.

Groups start in April and meet once a week for 12 sessions and are designed to support you at whatever stage of life you’re in.

If group scheduling doesn’t fit, individual DBT skills coaching is also available.
