Remember this post from a couple of years ago?

Well, I'm happy to say that collections have increased (on average) 10 units **per drive** since then! If we stay on track, we will bring in 7.5 more gallons than average during 2025.

Thank you so much to our loyal donors and for each of you who share our posts, even if you can't donate! You are making a big impact and I hope we can continue that!

And a big shout out to Laura Livengood and Tony Duran for making each blood drive so special for the donors!

Dangerous snow and ice conditions continue to stretch across the nation, resulting in about 20,000 blood products to go uncollected since the beginning of the year – a number already surpassing the total amount of uncollected donations due to weather last winter.

The American Red Cross urges the public to give blood to help combat the significant weather impact on blood donations this winter. People of all blood types – especially those with type O negative blood – are needed this February!

A huge thank you to those who donated blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive. 30 units were collected saving 90 lives. Pictured are a few of Harper Counties finest. Thank you Harper United Methodist Church for hosting the drive, Wayne Drouhard for donating the ground beef so Tony Duran could make his famous Joly Jalapa Burgers, and Gene’s Heartland Foods of Anthony for donating buns, condiments and chips.
