Starting February 6th!!
A Role-Playing Game Workshop for Confidence, Reflection & Decision-Making
Hero’s Journey
RPG-Guided Personal Growth for Teens & Adults
Hero’s Journey is a small, facilitated group experience that uses tabletop role-playing and storytelling as tools for reflection, insight, and personal growth.
While the group draws on RPG structure and narrative, it is not a traditional D&D game. The focus is less on combat or strategy and more on intention, symbolism, choice-making, and how stories can mirror real-life experiences.
Each session includes guided conversation before, during, and after the story. These discussions invite participants to reflect on character decisions, group dynamics, and themes that emerge, helping connect the experience to everyday life in a grounded and thoughtful way.
No prior RPG experience is required — just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to engage with the group and story.
Details:
🐲 Small group format (2–6 participants)
🐉 2-hour sessions
🐲 Intro rate: $25 per session
🐉 $20 per session when booking multiple sessions
This experience uses role-playing as a reflective and supportive tool, but it is not clinical therapy and not a substitute for mental health treatment.
Open to teens (16+) and young adults interested in storytelling, creativity, and meaningful group experiences. Groups may include mixed ages, and content is designed to be respectful, thoughtful, and age-appropriate.
About the Facilitator
Jesse Harkins is an educator and graduate student in clinical psychology whose work sits at the intersection of imagination, psychology, and collaborative storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from Jungian psychology and active imagination, Jesse facilitates guided role-playing experiences that invite participants into story as a way to reflect, explore meaning, and build awareness. His approach emphasizes curiosity, presence, and integration, allowing stories to unfold naturally while remaining grounded, accessible, and developmentally appropriate.
