Richie Robinson is our latest DAISY winner at SIH Harrisburg Medical Center. A patient's daughter recently nominated him for his compassionate care.

“I had a family member who was recently a patient having a stroke. She wanted me to nominate Richie because she said he was the best nurse and in a short time made her feel safe and well cared for."

NEW SERVICE: Outpatient EEG services are now offered at SIH Harrisburg Medical Center, expanding access to advanced neurology care in Southern Illinois.

Through collaboration with neurologists trained in neurophysiology, patients benefit from leading care at the forefront of electrophysiological research, epilepsy treatment and advancements in seizure and neurological disorder care.

Please join us in congratulating Brenda Hinkle, recipient of the Toni Award at SIH Harrisburg Medical Center.

Brenda stepped in without hesitation when the ER needed extra hands during a critical situation. With the department short-staffed and the team working tirelessly, her prior ER experience and calm, confident presence made a meaningful difference. She assisted throughout a difficult and lengthy intubation, providing support that was truly lifesaving.
