We found this dog on the side of Joy Road (Mt. Clemens) at the I94 over pass between Irwin & Gratiot. It has Macomb County tags, but they are closed today. He has a red collar. Here is a picture. Does anyone know of someone looking for him? Photo proof required.

Jamie died 18 years ago today. For many years my spirit struggled with this formidable loss. God was with me even when I walked through those horrible days... in grief.. anger... and even disbelief.

He had already blessed me with an amazing husband and young son to walk with me and to help me through the initial grief. Then He blessed me again with a third child to help heal my loss. He gave me a purpose in helping children with special needs in his memory, then renewed my faith, and showed me that He had never really left my side.

Today is a day of loss and remembrance. It is also a day of faith and hope. Here is a not so frequently shared photo of my Jamie in his exersaucer doing one of his favorite activities... napping.

Jamie you are missed and loved to day and always! I asked God to give you a hug and my love today. I know that he has!
