Our adventure girl, Haiden, is moving to Colorado at the end of April. She filled such a hug void for us when Anne got sick and now we are trying to fill the void she will leave. If you know of a hygienist looking for a really nice place to work, please give them our info. We are seeking someone kind and gentle, and someone who will love our patients the way we do.

Emily is married!! Many of you have had the pleasure of getting to know her. She is Dr. Chalker’s right hand woman. Our office would not run smoothly without her. Please join us in wishing this lovely lady a lifetime of happiness as she and her hubby begin this next chapter.
Today we celebrated our adventure girl, Haiden. She is about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime. If you have been lucky enough to have had her clean your teeth or even if you haven’t, please join us in wishing her many many years of wedded bliss.
Our office was presented this week with the story of a young man in our community that needs help. His dog, Trout, was injured recently and broke both his hind legs. Trout is in need of surgery to help improve his quality of life. His owner is in college and though he works, Trout’s medical bills are more than he can afford at this time. We know many of you love dogs as much as we do. We are reaching out to ask for donations to help this young man raise enough money to get the much needed surgery for his dog. If any of you can help, please write your check to Heartland Veterinary Clinic. You can drop it off at the office or mail it to us. We will make sure the money goes to Trout’s surgery. Thank you for being a part of our dental community and for any help you can give.

October is national dental hygiene month. Before this month ends, we want to give a big shout out to our wonderful hygienists that provide wonderful care to each and every patient. Dr. Chalker couldn’t do her job without them.

Meghan Glago joined our team in June of this year. She has been such a huge help to us as we have worked hard to accommodate our patients after being closed for COVID.
Haiden Fischer joined our team in July. She is the adventurer of the office, and is rarely without a positive attitude or smile.
Stephanie Huffman is our rock of the office. She has been with Dr.Chalker since day one. She is excellent at her job, and treats every patient with the quality of care she would give her own family.
Anne Depoy is the matriarch of the office and has also been with Dr. Chalker from the get go. She is loved by all who are lucky enough to be around her. She is currently on medical leave but hopes to return to the rat race in the near future.
We love these women and just want to say thank you for all they do!!! Please feel free to add any words of appreciation as well.

This time of year brings all sorts of thoughtful gifts our way from the many specialists we work with. These arrived today and were just too cute not to share. (Yes, we in the dental world enjoy sweet treats too!). Thank you to Dr. Aaron Quitmeyer and Shenandoah Oral and Facial surgery!!!
Today these girls were treated to our annual spa day Christmas party. These women are what make our office what it is. From our amazing 2 hygienists that treat every patient as their friend, to my wonderful assistants that make my job easier, to the front desk gals who tie everything together. I couldn’t do it without them!!! Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you!!!!

It's been awhile since we've posted anything. Just wanted to show several of our smiling staff that look forward to seeing you at your next visit.
Congratulations to Katherine for winning our Luck of The Irish contest! Thank you to everyone who participated both in our office and on Facebook. For those interested, there were 635 green shamrocks in the jar. Dr. Chalker personally counted every single one of them. Katherine guessed 632. Very impressive!
If you would like to be included in our contest, just post your vote and we will add you to the drawing. Just in case you can't tell how big the jar is, a full box of cereal was used.
Happy Monday! We had an eventful weekend. Apparently on Saturday, our parking lot was used to teach a 15 year old how to drive. No one was hurt, but the result was a truck ending up in our main lobby. A crew spent their Sunday cleaning up the mess for us. There was glass all the way to the operatory rooms. We are not quite completely back together, but we are getting there and will be working today.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that our wonderful Samantha has decided to make a career change and will no longer be with us. She has been such an integral part of our practice and we will miss her beyond words. If anyone has any kind words that you would like to share with her, we will make sure she gets your message.
