Flu and cold season is upon us!
Pay attention to proper hand hygiene! Soap and water if you can and of course hand sanitizer! Throw all Kleenex in trash and keep a little Vaseline close for those poor red chapped noses. A good hand moisterizer for your cracked knuckls and dry hands from all the sanitizer and soap.
Make sure
To take vitamins and drink plenty of water.
Green tea with ginger and honey are soothing and good for you!
Be careful when working with elderly rather you are family or caregivers they have weaker immunity then we do and can become sick very quick.

Here are a few simple but important home safety tips for seniors:

👣 1. Clear the walkways: Remove clutter, cords, and rugs that could cause trips or falls.
💡 2. Light it up: Add night lights in hallways and bathrooms to make nighttime movement safer.
🚿 3. Bathroom safety: Use grab bars and non-slip mats in tubs and showers.
📞 4. Keep help close: Always have a phone or emergency alert device within reach.
🥾 5. Proper footwear: Supportive, non-slip shoes make a big difference in preventing falls.

Just Like Family Comfort Care is a locally owned caregiving agency serving Harrisonville and surrounding communities. Our mission is simple:
To care for individuals the way we would care for our own family. 💜
