Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia (IHCWV) was established in 1994 as part of a pilot school-based health center program. Based in Ritchie County High School, IHCWV offered students, staff, and teachers health care services. Today, IHCWV offers primary care services at nine campuses across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood Counties. In addition to being primary care centers, six of IHCWVβs campuses are also designated as School-Based Health Centers (SBHC). These clinics are located within school grounds and can support the schools (teachers, students, staff); however, they are also open to provide clinical services to the students' parents and the community at large.
β
Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and is directed by a board comprised of patients and community members. Because IHCWV is an FQHC, we receive federal funds, which enable our health centers to provide services to our patients at discounted rates based on family size and income level. The health centers do not turn anyone away due to their inability to pay. Eligible services include medical, X-ray, and behavioral health. Pharmacy services are not covered by the Sliding Fee Discount Program. VALUES
Patient-centered, committed to the communities we serve, and invested in our patients and ourselves. We believe in having trustworthy, respectful relationships with our patients that create positive healthcare experiences.β
