Prayers for Brittany Eakin

After 1 & 1/2 months of vomiting 2-3 times daily, and multiple doctors appointments, and several trips to the ER, a ER doctor discovered a baseball sized tumor on the back of Brittany's brain on March 17th around 11pm. That night, Brittany was taken by ambulance to Le Bonheur children's hospital, four hours away in Memphis, TN, for emergency brain surgery to have the tumor removed. The 5-hour proc

edure was performed on March 19th, 2015. On that day we were informed that the tumor was cancerous, and that she would have to undergo radiation therapy and chemotherapy. She is now receiving care at St. Jude children's research hospital, also in Memphis. She just finished her six weeks of radiation treatment, and is home for a month before she returns to the hospital to begin chemo, which will be once a month for four months. All thoughts and prayers during this indescribably difficult time are appreciated beyond words. Brittany and her family is beyond grateful for the out pour of love and support that has been shown for her as she goes through this unpredictable journey.
