This conference brings together leaders from across the country who are committed to strengthening public safety, supporting rehabilitation, and retaining healthcare professionals through innovative monitoring programs.

What we learn doesn’t stay at a conference, it comes back to our community.

Sam serves as a Clinical Therapist in our Dual-Diagnosis Next Step Program, where he works with individuals and families navigating both mental health and substance use challenges. A graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, Sam earned both his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

What makes Sam stand out is his heart for helping others see themselves differently. He believes that many behaviors people struggle with are not personal flaws, but attempts to cope. Through individual, family, and group therapy, he helps build self-compassion, create safe and secure relationships, and find healthier ways to manage life’s stressors, whether expected or unexpected.

Members of our team recently had the opportunity to attend the Connect & Emerge: Event Planning Conference, where we spent time learning new ideas, strategies, and creative ways to bring people together in meaningful ways.

At Pine Grove, events are more than just gatherings. They are opportunities to educate, support, and connect with the communities we serve. The better we plan, the better we can share resources, raise awareness, and create spaces where important conversations can happen.
