We’re proud to recognize Robin Strickland, RN – 9T as this month’s DAISY Award recipients!

Robin’s compassion goes far beyond the bedside. While caring for a newly diagnosed cancer patient who was overwhelmed and struggling with mobility, Robin didn’t hesitate to act. She gifted the patient her own personal cane, the very one that supported her during her own recovery from a serious injury.

This kind of selflessness is something Robin brings to every shift. Her quiet, consistent acts of kindness remind us what nursing is truly about: leading with heart and showing up for patients when they need it most.

Congratulations, Robin. You inspire us all!

Charlie Williamson, licensed architect and Executive Director of Facilities Services at Forrest Health, has spent more than 25 years designing healthcare spaces that heal not just with medicine, but with nature.
