Being a working mom is the most brain-frazzling thing I’ve ever done in my life. Your heart pulls one way, your brain pulls another. It’s too much for our minds to juggle - and having your head and your heart constantly in two different places was the nervous system dysregulation that brought me to my knees and landed me on an LOA (leave of absence) with hair falling out in clumps, adrenals failing and my nervous system on life support.
