✨ Calm & Grace ✨

I belong to two different groups—one is focusing on calm this week, and the other has chosen grace as our theme for the year. As I’ve been pondering these words, I’ve realized just how beautifully they work together.

When we are calm, it’s so much easier to offer grace—to respond with patience, to let go of frustration, to meet others where they are. And it’s easier to receive grace too—to accept help, to forgive ourselves, to trust the process.

I’m working on adding more calm to my life. More deep breaths. More gentle moments. More space to pause before reacting. Because with calm comes grace, and with grace, life flows a little more beautifully.

Starting over on a goal isn’t failure – it’s a chance to grow stronger, no matter how many ups and downs you face along the way. Every step you take brings you closer to the person you want to be, even if it doesn’t always feel that way. Remember, even when things don’t go as planned, you’re still better off than when you started!

When I need to reset, I take a moment to breathe and refocus. For me, it's all about finding balance – whether it’s getting a good night’s sleep, drinking plenty of water, eating a healthy meal, going for a walk, or simply spending time in the sun. Sometimes I just need to call up a friend for a chat.

No matter what works for you, remember: you’ve got this! Stay focused, stay kind to yourself, and reach for the stars! ✨ Keep going, you're stronger than you think!

"Some days go as planned… and some days go completely off the rails! šŸ˜…"

I had my whole day mapped out, but life had other plans. I was supposed to clean my kids’ dance studio for 2.5 hours, but it got delayed by an hour and a half. That meant the time I had set aside to prep dinner for the teachers at my kids’ school disappeared.

Cue last-minute scrambling. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Thankfully, I am so blessed to have amazing ladies who stepped in to help me get everything set up. ā¤ļø It was a bit chaotic, but we made it happen!

Some days just don’t go as planned, and that’s okay. Tomorrow is a new day, and I’ll try again. šŸ’Ŗ

One Step at a Time = Big Results! šŸš€
Have you ever looked at a huge project and felt so overwhelmed that you just kept putting it off? šŸ˜… That was me with our unfinished basement.

The thought of clearing it out felt daunting—so instead of stressing about the BIG goal, I decided to focus on small steps.

āœ… I committed to one small task most days (skipping the crazy-busy ones).
āœ… I let my kids in on the big picture and set clear expectations.
āœ… We just kept chipping away at it—and you know what? We’re making amazing progress!

Now, I don’t feel the need to procrastinate anymore. The mental load is lighter, my kids even take the lead sometimes, and this method is now spilling over into other areas of my life. Looking back over the year, I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished!
