Rick Kline Memorial Slow Pitch Softball Tournament 2026 TOURNAMENT DATES-AUGUST 15TH AND 16TH! See you then!

Rick Kline was a community volunteer, Tri-Valley softball coach and was actively involved in many lives around the Hegins Valley in PA and beyond. Sadly, Rick was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer in May 2013 and passed away December 31st, 2013 after a long, hard fought battle. Rick did not want to be known by his cancer, but as a person who helped others and taught his softball players the game of softball and to play for the "Love of the Game". By holding a slow pitch softball tournament in his memory, we will be honoring his wishes and hope to gather many from all areas to come together for a fun filled weekend of softball! Registration Information:
Will be available June 1st

When: August 19th-20th
Where: Hegins Park-Hegins, PA
Registration Fee: $200.00 per team
*Ages 18 or older to play HOWEVER players ages 16 and 17 can play with a signed parental consent form, team must contain at least 2 female or male team members, teams can range from 13-16 registered players!*

By registering a team, each team will be helping community organizations around the Hegins Valley fulfill project needs in helping and assisting our friends and neighbors!

Hi friends :) Its been a little while! I can't believe it's soon time to start planning for the 2026 Tournament. How does time go by so fast??

Since our video post, so much has happened, and so many we have known have passed from that C word. It doesn't care what you do, who you know, or how good of a person you are. Cancer has, and continues to be, too well known to so many. May all who have passed in the last few months rest in peace, and that their families find love and comfort in the memories. We will continue our mission in supporting those fighting, those who have fought, and for those whose battle is to come ❤️

THANK YOU to our volunteers, supporters, Kid and Adult Derby participants, Gianna Poletti, teams, Donors, Sponsors, Pizza Buds, Ryan Reidler, Bumpers, just absolutely everyone that made this event happen and run smoothly!
