Six days… just SIX days away… and I’m about to run my first 5K. 🏃🏽♀️🔥
And if I’m being real with you…
this isn’t just about a race.
This is about a woman who got tired of putting herself last. 💔
A mama who kept showing up for everyone else… but forgot about HER. 👑
A wife who carried the weight… silently… and still smiled through it. ❤️🩹
But something in me said…
“Enough is enough.” ⚡️
So I made a decision.
I started fasting. ✨
I started walking. 🚶🏽♀️
And now… I’m RUNNING. 🏃🏽♀️🔥
Not just on this trail…
but toward the version of me I refused to lose. 💫
Today I showed up.
Not perfect… but PRESENT.
✔️ 4+ miles
✔️ 11,000+ steps
✔️ Over an hour locked in
✔️ Heart rate pushing, legs burning, mind focused
And for the first time in a long time…
I TRUST myself. 🙌🏽
Mama… hear me when I say this… 👇🏽
This journey is NOT a sprint. 🚫
It’s not about quick fixes or overnight results.
It’s about discipline.
It’s about consistency.
It’s about choosing YOU… over and over again. 🔁✨
Because every step I took today…
was building confidence. 💪🏽
was building strength. 🔥
was building HER. 👑
And let me say this too…
having a strong support system beside me…
has changed EVERYTHING. ❤️
So if you’re reading this feeling tired…
burned out…
like you’ve lost yourself somewhere in the middle of being everything to everybody…
