🌟 Happy National Nonprofit Day! 🌟
Today, we honor the incredible work of nonprofits everywhere — each one making a difference in their communities. At Intermountain, we’re proud to be part of this mission, providing hope and healing to children and families who are facing mental and behavioral health challenges.
Every day, our team walks alongside kids and families on their journey toward wellness — but we can’t do it alone.
💛 Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the word, your support helps us build stronger, healthier futures for those who need it most.
Let’s lift up ALL nonprofits today — and keep showing up for the work that changes lives. 💪

We're thrilled to announce that Intermountain CEO Palagi and Intermountain Residential Executive Director Bryce are featured in a new educational documentary about mental health that is running on the public TV series .project.dennis.quaid! We were selected as a featured guest to help educate millions of people about the importance of relationships in behavioral and mental health treatment. The film, "Navigating Behavioral and Mental Health: Stories of Hope & Healing", also shares an intimate portrait of one family and the way Intermountain changed their lives. "I'm so proud of my children, and the amazing things they'll do. That would not have been possible without every single person at Intermountain.” ~Kristen, mother of former Intermountain clients

You may have caught our teasers for tonight's event theater in Helena. The show is on and going strong! We are incredibly excited by the joy, engagement, and supporters who came to watch a premier of our special Intermountain educational film airing on public TV this summer for the series .project.dennis.quaid. Even better, they came to join in our mission of healing through healthy relationships and jumped on our campaign. Thank you to EVERYONE who came tonight and your partnership in bringing hope and healing to children and families in Montana.

Results for 2025 Heart of Helena Art Auction are in.

The 2025 Heart of Helena Art Show and Auction has completed it's final accounting for this year's event and we are pleased to announce our results. Eight different local area non-profits were designated to receive portions of the proceeds. Those groups are Family Promise, Helena Food Share, Friendship Center, God’s Love, Head Start, YWCA, Good Samaritan, and Intermountain Children’s Home. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, artists, vendors, volunteers and attendees who bid on the art, Heart of Helena was able to distribute just over $1,000 to each agency.

We are particularly thankful to St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral for their coordinating of the event, and our sponsors Thrivent, St. Peter's Health, Queen City Framing and Opportunity Bank.

Heart of Helena is already planning for our 2026 event. Please watch for additional information in the coming months.

✨Inspiring the Future!✨
Intermountain team members Kim, Mikal, and Tori recently spent the day at Carroll College for Heads Up Camp connecting with high school students who may be curious about careers in behavioral health.

Together, they shared what it’s like to work in this rewarding field, gave an inside look at the services we provide at Intermountain, and highlighted how each of their roles makes a difference in kids’ lives. They brought hands-on activities to show how Occupational Therapy supports pediatric mental health in powerful, creative ways.

We’re always excited to spark passion and purpose in the next generation of mental health professionals! 💙

🎉🐖🏆 Ready, Set, Bid! 🐄🎉

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of the county fair 4H livestock auction — the fast-paced bidding, the proud young growers, and the chance to do some serious good with your big win.

Please consider bidding high this weekend in support of a hardworking 4H kid, AND donating that high-quality, local-raised protein to Intermountain, helping nourish children in our care with healthy meals that heal.

Producer Partnership is a source that will arrange for pick up and processing of your donation at no cost. Visit their website for more info. www.producerpartnership.com

🌟 What a night! 🌟
We were honored to welcome a room full of incredible local business leaders who came together to learn more about Intermountain’s mission, and got an exclusive first look at a very special project we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

As we shared stories of the growing mental health needs facing families and nonprofits alike, the room was filled with hope, connection, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

A huge thank you to The Caseys for the beautiful music, Event Thyme Catering for the delicious spread, and our generous evening sponsor, Deloitte, for making it all possible.

We are deeply grateful for the community that surrounds and supports this work. 💙

⛺️Staff are starting to gather the gear which means epic adventures are on the horizon!

For the youth in our residential program, outdoor adventures aren’t just a break from routine, they are part of the healing and growth process. When kids spend time around campfires, under starlit skies, on the water, and on trails shared with people who truly see them, they discover *themselves*.

Here’s why outdoor adventures with peers and staff are so important:

🧠 Boosted Mental Health – Nature can reduce stress and anxiety, helping kids regulate emotions and clear their minds.

🤝 Stronger Peer Connections – Shared adventure builds trust, teamwork, and meaningful relationships.

🌟 Increased Confidence – Tackling challenges outdoors helps kids believe in their ability to overcome the hard stuff — on the trail and in life.

👣 Therapy in Motion – Often during adventure, kids open up naturally, and meaningful moments happen in real time.

💙Connection with Staff – Hiking side by side creates powerful, authentic bonds that support long-term growth.

Outdoor adventure is more than recreation — it’s transformation. It’s where resilience is built, life is processed, and hope is restored.
