Some great tips from my friend who was a body builder…

“IMO/IME, personal trainers that you get at the gym are bu****it- they're too underpaid to give you the type of personalized program you would need to make significant gains. Even though you pay $40-50 a session, they'll only see 10-15 of that (at best). Without question though, get yourself a professional program right off Amazon- I love Chad Waterbury's HIAH program- but Starting Strength or Home Grown Muscle are very solid as well. With any of those you'll save yourself a lot of time and probably see significant strength and muscle development fast, especially if this is your first time with a professional program. Also, creatine, whey protein, amino acids, fish oils, repeat. Get at least a gram of protein per pound of body weight daily. If you're looking to get significantly bigger- lift heavy and eat at a surplus of 800-1200 calories a day; for body recomp, 5-600 surplus. Squat, deadlift, repeat, and stay away from machines. Don't over think it- it's calories in, calories out, lift heavy things, put them down. And if you truly believe you’re a hardgainer- GOMAD (gallon of milk a day).”

According to a recent study, sleep regularity may be more important than the amount of sleep you get when it comes to longevity. The study found that people who slept six hours every night on a consistent schedule had a lower risk of early death than people who slept eight hours but had irregular habits. A consistent sleep schedule helps your circadian rhythm function more efficiently, which can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep

Eternal youth is the stuff of religion and mythology, but what if we could just have a bit more of it? What if there was a pill that could slow down the ravages of time, so that you could feel younger for longer. It sounds like snake oil, but there’s a growing body of research that’s betting on ...

My Story

I’m not about fancy “clean eating” “guilt” “counting calories”

- I’m about behavior modification- setting goals and accomplishing them.

- Wellness begins with recognizing that internal peace is necessary to do anything well.

o I believe in positivity, putting people at ease, smiling, warmth, and patience- never criticizing
