This is what mid-career looks like! I had an amazing time catching up with friends and colleagues at this year’s and conference in Orlando. 👁️ I was honored to moderate an panel, present about my favorite technique, and record a podcast episode about for an upcoming episode. It was a jam packed weekend and so amazing to see friends and contemporaries stepping into leadership roles and becoming the next face of and . I felt equal parts proud and old 😂 And nobody better demonstrates the fact that our superstars are just normal people better than . It was nice grabbing a beer with you! Cheers! 🍻

Super late posting this but I had an amazing time last month at the Summer Symposium. Not only did I get to meet the amazingly hilarious , hang out with great friends, learn from colleagues and share my own insights, I got to bring my family and expose my twins to a little bit of the 👁️ world. They had a blast doing eye crafts, hunting for shark teeth, making new friends and seeing local wildlife (including a 🐸 in the pool!). WIO is known for their amazing swag bags but hands down, my favorite swag item this year was their cool 👁️ scrub cap!! Fun and functional!! ❤️

This Thursday we had some extra muscle 💪🏼 (aka security detail) for our quad patients 😝 It was fun hosting one of my former staff members and his friend (both college students who are pre-med). Happy to inspire the next generation!

When you own a private practice, work never stops! Most of my vacations are working vacations and this week in Seattle was no exception. I got to observe premiere .aj.amadi work his magic doing face and lid lifts. 🪄 I also got to tour the beautiful, new, state of the art office and surgery center at .

Fortunately it wasn’t all just work and no play. I managed to squeeze in a visit with friends (former co-fellow and now full professor and director of fellowship ), eat lots of YUMMY food ( every day!), and visited quaint, beautiful Bainbridge island and Anacortes! Overall it was a fun and successful trip! ✔️

It’s been over 6 years since I was able to go to cadaver dissection course “The Cutting Edge” (the pandemic and starting my practice got in the way). But as always it was top notch discourse among expert colleagues and I picked up so many tricks and ideas on how to further improve my practice. I was also excited to share the tips and tricks I use for my technique. It was so fun catching up with old friends and making new ones ❤️
