Great opportunity to work on an organic farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, creating gourmet goat milk gelato and custom gelato cakes! Fields of Gold Farm in Hendersonville, NC is looking for a special and talented individual with great culinary dessert competence, who is detail oriented with all required skills, education and experience. We currently specialize in over 40 flavors of farm fresh incredible gelato for retail and wholesale customers. We are expanding to also include gourmet gelato cakes and are very excited about this latest offering! This is a flexible part-time position that may quickly develop into more full-time hours. Looking for a dedicated, honest, dependable, passionate foodie with a great work ethic who believes in organic farming and wants to be a team member as we develop and expand our farm. We expect excellent time management skills, flexibility, creative, good personality, communication and organizational skills. Able to demonstrate the ability to consistently make our weekly production needs. Exhibits a good variety of pastry skills necessary.
