True life right here: it's Monday and I've got allll the Monday feels! It was a fun filled busy weekend with my sister in town and chili/game night that I just did not have the time to get as prepared as I needed to be or should be.
Also, this weekend I had seafood nachos, fries, chili and all the cookies and adult beverages too. I don't exactly feel on my A game but I got up for my usual workout and I am NOT skipping any meals. I'm jumping right back into my routine of healthy, wholesome meals.
I did not have time to make my eggs so (again NOT skipping meals) I blended up a nutrient dense breakfast shake: 8oz unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop Vega Sport, 1 banana, 2 TBSP PB Fit, 1 handful spinach.
It is never about being 100% perfect all the time, it is always about Balance and living your life as happy and as healthy as can be!
On Tuesdays, We Bake! I love being a Dietitian and eating healthy the majority of the time, but remember to always enjoy life! Life is just sweeter with some chocolate and peanut butter AND that equals these monster cookies! They are pretty delicious sooo of course I had to make them for my family and friends on the west coast!
Here's the thing, without proper fuel, I'd never get through workouts like this. Remember to fuel with whole foods, keep a balance of protein, fats and carbs and alllll the veggies and you'll be mastering all the Athletics.
Here I'm doing 2 of my leg Day exercises that are the most challenging for me. One for balance the other for more athleticism and explosiveness. They are fun when I can do a few in a row without falling over or tripping but I continue to do them even when they are not fun so that I can master my balance and become more athletic.!
