Alissa recently celebrated 350 classes at Homegrown Power Yoga 🥳🎉 Congratulations, Alissa on this amazing accomplishment and committtment to yourself 🌟🌟🌟 When asked: How has being consistent in your yoga practice impacted your life off the mat? Alissa shared: “Over the years, consistent practice has helped me to realize that:
1) Taking care of yourself is absolutely essential in order to be able to be truly present for others.
2) Showing myself compassion, love, and acceptance has opened a world of joy.
3) The psychological benefits of a consistent yoga practice really follows you! I’ve begun to make choices that bring peace and joy to my life, rather than what feels like a “must.””

If you are a fan of early morning classes then you’ve definitely seen Ted around the studio 👋👋👋 Ted is one of our amazing students and loves starting his day off with yoga! When asked: What keeps you coming back to Homegrown Power Yoga? Ted answered: “I came to HPY to improve my flexibility and reduce my everyday stress. And it did. The early morning classes also allowed me to fit in my practice at the very beginning of my day.
