🚨 **Public Service Announcement** 🚨

As we are nearing the completion of the new Medical Building, we need to once again temporarily reroute the Emergency Room (ER) entrance to facilitate the final resurfacing of the parking lot. Starting **Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:00 AM.**, the ER entrance will be relocated to the east side of the hospital (please see the attached diagram). The parking lot paving is expected to be finished by the end of the day on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Please pay attention to the signage guiding you to the temporary ER entrance, as the access point at the Y will be closed (refer to the diagram).

We appreciate your patience during this construction phase. Our continued focus is on providing an exceptional patient experience and serving as your regional center of care.

❗ Public Service Announcement: Temporary Windom ER Entrance Change ❗

As the new Medical Building continues to make great progress, it is necessary to temporarily re-route the Emergency Room (ER) entrance to allow for the construction on the new parking lot. Therefore, effective Monday, September 30, 2024, at 7:30 AM the ER entrance will be re-routed to the East side of the hospital (See Diagram). If weather can remain above 50 degrees, they are scheduled to move forward with paving the new parking lot on the West side. The paving of the parking lot is expected to be completed by the end of November. In the event that the weather drops below 50 degrees, the paving project will be put on hold until the spring. In that case, they would gravel the parking lot and reopen the original entrance for the ER entrance as soon as possible.

Please be sure to watch for the signage that will navigate you to the temporary ER entrance, as the access point at the Y will be closed (See Diagram).

To accommodate patients of Windom Family Medical Center (WFMC), they are to enter the door to the right of the current entrance (please follow the signs). Current reserved parking for WFMC will be moved directly to the other side of the East parking lot, to make room for ER entrance parking. One accessible parking spot will remain in front of that entrance to accommodate patients for the WFMC and the ER entrances. The previous door that was being used for WFMC will now be temporarily used for the ER entrance. Arrows will be placed on the walls to help guide patients to the ER, and that door will be staffed 24/7 until the original ER entrance is reopened.
