Interesting read on our women first responders. It highlights how women deal with PTSD differently than their male co-workers. Though this is related specifically to women firefighters we see this across the board when it comes to the way men and women deal with trauma differently.

Serotonin is a key neurotransmitter for creating feelings of well being and happiness in an individual. Many different drugs disturb the distribution of serotonin. Recovery from addiction and mental illness have to involve nutrition an physical health they are a direct link to feeling of happiness and well being.
