Only five sessions in and she is freaking killing it! 💪💪💪We start with lightweight over here! No ego lifting EVER! Progressive overload, a.k.a. progressing overtime … is what turns you into a literal bad ass! 💪💪💪Heel elevated Goblet Squat (hips pushed back , then down) all while maintaining a strong, neutral, spine, quad snd core dominant …. Beautiful, beautiful job!Shannon James I am super pumped that you have given me the honor of being your CPT!! 😭🏋️💪 I cannot wait to see where your beautiful health wellness and fitness journey takes you! Happy happy Sunday fun day! Just a random little story  I need to share…. So my husband and I had Taco Bell yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! 💃🏻😂I look forward to my “fun foods” once or twice a week!! Please do NOT call them cheat meals!! It sounds like you’re doing something bad! 😂Buttt…. Now guess what? I’m back on track in the kitchen meal prepping! Yes we fall off every now and then but you MUST get back on!  Please trust and believe when I tell you that strength training has a HUGE massive benefit in weight management. That’s why I’m able to have the fun foods once or twice a week! I have only been within a 10 pound weight loss or weight gain ( between 138 and 148 … I like to be a little “thick” if you will 😆) for yearssssssssss! I’ve witnessed sooooo many people put on 30 to 40 pounds right before my very eyes and it breaks my heart!! 😩😩😩 When all you need to do is move, move, move, cut your calories a bit ( move more and eat less ) and strength train! Eat well MOST of the time! Enjoy fun foods SOME of the time! It really is that simple! The best version of you comes to life….. THROUGH COMMITMENT AND DISCIPLINE! Ahhhhhhh…. to my sweet, sweet up to 800 pound Olympic plate loaded hip thrust machine…… No more getting onto the ground and getting into position with heavy ass dumbbells for our Glute bridges & no more shoulder blades against a bench and rolling the barbell on top of us ( not that I didn’t freaking love those moves because trust me I did !! 😂😂 but making things easier in life when weightlifting especially as we go heavier is magical 😂🏋️💪!) because all we have to do now is climb in like we’re on a freakin roller coaster !! 😂😂🏋️🏋️💪💪 welcome home, baby! Gotta love a good ole’ DB (dumbbell) sn**ch! Hinge and Power through the hips with explosiveness! 🏋️🏋️🏋️Great full body move! I remember doing these with 8 pound dumbbells when I started.. now I’m up to 25s!! If you’re ever cranky, sad , depressed or moody do 3 unilateral rounds 3 on the right and then on to 3 rounds on the left 40 seconds work 20 seconds rest in between sets then 30 seconds rest before you switch to the other side!! 🏋️🏋️💪💪 The instant flooding of oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine will make you feel fantastic! HAPPY HEALTHY STRONG!! 🤗❤️🏋️💪
