Last week, our clinic manager, Danica Haverkamp, PTA and Shannon Henry, PT had a wonderful time speaking with community members at the senior citizen center about the importance of Active Aging.
The turnout was fantastic, and we loved the thoughtful questions and conversations about fall prevention, staying independent, improving balance and strength and continuing to do the activities people love most.
One of the biggest messages we shared: aging doesnโt mean slowing down โ it means moving safely, confidently, and intentionally. Physical therapy can help older adults improve balance, reduce pain, prevent falls, and maintain independence at any age.
Weโre grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our communities, provide education, and help people stay active and healthy close to home. ๐ Thank you to everyone who joined us!
