Change in payment options, Effective Immediately‼️
On Tuesday March 12, 2024 Venmo authorized a $96.00 purchase transaction from Door Dash. A transaction that I did not authorize and was not processed by my DoorDash account.
That afternoon I disputed the claim with Venmo’s customer support. This process was great and the representative was very helpful. However, I received notification today that my claim was “DENIED because the transaction was not unauthorized”.
I literally had my phone in my had at the time this transaction was made. All of my devices are password protected and no one has access to any of my accounts.
I no longer feel comfortable using Venmo/Paypal services.
Going forward I will only accept,
Cash
Check
Credit card
Apple Pay/ Google Pay
