Change in payment options, Effective Immediately‼️

On Tuesday March 12, 2024 Venmo authorized a $96.00 purchase transaction from Door Dash. A transaction that I did not authorize and was not processed by my DoorDash account.

That afternoon I disputed the claim with Venmo’s customer support. This process was great and the representative was very helpful. However, I received notification today that my claim was “DENIED because the transaction was not unauthorized”.

I literally had my phone in my had at the time this transaction was made. All of my devices are password protected and no one has access to any of my accounts.
I no longer feel comfortable using Venmo/Paypal services.

Going forward I will only accept,
Cash
Check
Credit card
Apple Pay/ Google Pay

“Quiet Session”, This treatment option was inspired by a service that I saw posted by a hairstylist several months back. I thought “Ohhh what a great idea, I need to offer something like that!”.

As a massage therapist days at the office can limit our interaction with other humans and adults. Therefore sometimes we can be “chatty”, we have so much to say and not enough time to get it out! Although we try to “read the room” during sessions and honor the clients wants and needs, these cues can be overlooked. This option allows for the client to book a “quiet session” without having to vocalize that they’d prefer the therapist to refrain from conversation during their session for anything other than therapeutic purposes.

Side note: Don’t ever feel afraid or uncomfortable with communicating your expectations or requests with your therapist. You aren’t being needy, difficult or rude in doing so. This is your time! ♥︎
