Congrats to all our Spring MLP Players for a great season and a great playoff tournament today.

The 12 teams were seeded based on league standings and played a single elimination tournament. Many matches went to DreamBreakers including the gold medal match!

Our amazing volunteers came together this morning to complete the final steps to get the upper courts ready for resurfacing which starts Monday. It was a couple hours of hard, dirty labor.

We can’t thank everyone enough! 🙏💚

The courts look better than expected underneath all that sand. It’s been a long process that started over a year ago - ripping up and removing the turf and tons of sand.

We love our amazing community!

Thanks to our amazing community for their hard manual labor this morning! Shoveling, sweeping, blowing and moving huge amounts of sand off the old turf tennis courts and cutting up huge fallen branches. 🙏💚

We had a fun farewell pickleball mixer for Scott and Tina Miller last night. They’re moving to eastern NC and will be missed! Scott’s one of the OG pickleballers here.

We dressed in bathrobes as an homage to Scott’s “Cousin Eddie” costume he’s been known to wear a time or two.

Making great progress on the upper court sand removal- it’s now halfway done! Should knock the rest out Saturday morning with our volunteer crew.

The first two photos show tonight’s progress. The third is what the current pickeball courts looked like before Gary resurfaced them. And the other photo is Gary working on the upper courts on his birthday last year. We’re all so grateful for everything he and Barbara have done! 🙏❤️

Want to learn pickleball? Join us Saturday Noon-2:00 PM for a "learn to play" clinic.

ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT!

Max 4 students so there's plenty of individual attention and coached game play... you'll leave knowing how to play and ready to hit the courts!

It's for players NEW TO THE GAME. We’ll cover the basic skills of how to hold your paddle, basic footwork, dinking, serving, returning, groundstrokes, rules, and how to keep score. There will be 20-30 minutes of coached gameplay to conclude the session.

We have paddles you can borrow. Wear athletic clothing and court shoes or tennis shoes, and bring plenty of water to drink.
