IDGAF if it’s “not the popular opinion.” 🤷‍♀️
If my baby cries, I respond.
If they need comfort, I give it.
If they need me, I’m there.

Not because I’m “spoiling” them…
But because I’m building trust.

One day they won’t reach for me in the middle of the night.
One day they won’t need that extra hug.
One day they’ll stop asking me to stay a little longer.

But today?
Today I am their safe place. 🤍
And I will never apologize for that.

Everyone loves buying for the baby (because tiny clothes are adorable), but what mothers truly need in postpartum can't always be wrapped in a box.

They need reassurance.
They need help.
They need someone to say "I've got the baby, go rest."

The truth is support often matters more than stuff.
The moms who feel most held during postpartum aren't the ones with the most products… they're the ones with the most support.

If you're building a registry, consider adding:
Meal trains
Postpartum doula support
House cleaning
Childcare help
Gift cards for takeout

Because when you support a mother, you support the whole family.
