When it comes to baby sleep, cultures around the world do things very differently! 🌍
👉 In many parts of Europe and Asia, co-sleeping is the norm. Babies sleep close to their parents, which can make nighttime feeding easier and help little ones feel safe and secure.
👉 In the United States, families often lean toward the Safe Sleep guidelines (baby on their back, in their own sleep space), or use the Safe Sleep 7 if bedsharing. This approach helps minimize risks and encourages more independent sleep.
✨ Here’s the truth: there is no one right way. Some parents thrive with co-sleeping, others with separate sleep. What matters most is what feels safe, supportive, and sustainable for your family.

🍷 Did you know you don’t have to give up wine (or your favorite cocktail) while breastfeeding?

Here’s the scoop:
👉 Alcohol enters breastmilk at the same level as your blood alcohol content.
👉 On average, it takes 2–3 hours per drink for your body to clear it.
👉 “Pump and dump” doesn’t make alcohol leave your milk faster—it only helps if you’re engorged.

✅ The safest option is to wait at least 2 hours per drink before nursing again, or plan ahead with pumped milk.

💜 Remember mama: occasional, mindful drinking can be compatible with breastfeeding. Trust your instincts, make a plan, and always do what feels right for you and your baby.
