Masters Class is back this May/June! Let us know if you have any questions.

P.S. we’re not very strict on the whole age thing…if you’re looking for a safe space to start working out, this is for you!

Masters Class is coming back to CFM this Spring!

Are you over 50? Looking to get stronger & stay active but not quite sure how to get started? Maybe you’ve looked at CrossFit before & thought “I can’t do that” or “that’s not for me.”

The CrossFit style of training is appropriate for any fitness or skill level - the same movement can be modified in countless ways to meet you wherever you’re at in life.

We’ve created the Masters class to allow for a longer warm up & a greater focus on strength movements and progressions. All while still incorporating higher intensity training to help you improve your overall fitness & capacity.

Classes will run two days per week for 8 weeks & are all instructed by a licensed physical therapist. If you have questions or would like to register, please reach out to Coach Rachel Selina at (810) 923-5550 or at rachelmselina@gmail.com.

As the fall race season is coming to a close it's time to start thinking about what's next...the off season.

An off season for running doesn't mean that you have to stop running completely. But it does mean that for a 2-3 month period of time, your running mileage and intensity should decrease significantly. This allows you the time to focus on the big picture and things that improve your running performance in the long run...things like resolving injuries, building strength and improving running form or mechanics.

Seeing a provider who can help coach you through all of these aspects can be so helpful! Stay tuned if you are looking to overhaul your running regime...we have some big things coming your way! 🏃🏻‍♀️👟👀

🚨March Service Spotlight-Running Evaluation🚨

🔷Who is it for?
A running evaluation is appropriate for anyone dealing with a running related injury, anyone who would like to begin running but isn’t sure where to start, or anyone currently running injury free who would like to optimize performance and reduce injury risk by assessing and modifying running mechanics.

🔷What does it include?
This session is 60 minutes. It includes a treadmill video running analysis to evaluate your running form as well as immediate recommendations of changes to be implemented to help you run pain free and help you to optimize performance. It allows for time to discuss current running programming and/or evaluate an injured area off the treadmill as well.

🔷How do I book this session?

Are you over the age of 50? Looking to stay active, strong, & healthy?

We are starting an 8 week program specifically for those ages 50+. These classes are appropriate for any fitness level & will focus on longer progressions for warm ups, strength work, & general movement patterns.

Recovery Session: Dry Needling

🔷Who is it for?
A dry needling recovery session is for someone who would like to reduce muscle soreness & speed up the natural recovery process from working out. It can be used to improve mobility and muscle activation as well. This session is not intended to evaluate or diagnose an injury or develop a full plan for addressing that injury/issue. Most people utilize this session for enhanced recovery and maintenance of an ongoing issue/problem area that has already been fully evaluated.

🔷What does it include?
This session is 30 minutes. Dry needling is typically performed for 10-20 minutes, allowing time for set up and discussion of what to do post session.
