Recovery number 523....Lost ring in snow at Ocean Grove NJ

Got a text about a lost ring in Ocean Grove. It’s the first major snow in New Jersey and Jaquelyn and her friends wanted to see the ocean during the snow. When getting back to her car she was brushing the snow off and felt her ring fly off her finger. She looked but couldnt find it. I told her id be there within a half hour ( I haven’t even cleared my car and sidewalk off yet ). When I got there I saw a metal detector laying on the ground, it seems a local girl Emma was detecting the beach ( in a snow storm ) and came across Jaquelyn but couldnt help, her battery went dead detecting. They had already moved the car from where it was park trying to look for it, but showed me the area where the ring should be. I started detecting and on the second target I heard, there was her ring buried in the snow. The smile of joy on everyone’s faces was the best feeling, knowing she got her beloved ring back on her finger.

Recovery 522 Recovery in Parlin NJ.... Got a text from Kim asking if I could help locate her earring she lost while raking leaves in her back yard. I told her I could stop over after work the next day. I drove over to meet her and she showed me where she thought she lost it. She blew herself off with the leaf blower so I started my search in that area. Really it could be anywhere in the back yard so I just started a grid back and forth. Not having any luck she mentioned and area where she was bending over to pick up leaves and I moved to that area. In my forth pass back and forth I got the tone and number ID on the detector I was hoping for and sure enough there was her earring in between the blades of grass. She was in her garage and I turned off my detector and walked over to her and said I think we're fighting a loosing battle, she lowered her head but then I opened my hand and showed her her earring, and after a couple of choice names she called me a big smile of disbelief that I was able to find it came across her face. Another happy ending and a greatful lady.

Dennis Burlingame - Recovery 521 Point Pleasent. Got a text from Alicia asking if I could help find her brother's Mike wedding band which he lost at Point Pleasent beach. She got my number from a friend who I did a recovery for before. I talked to Mike and told him I could be there in 25 minutes if he wanted to meet me. Mike met me on the boardwalk and told me what happened. Mike was down visiting so they went to enjoy local summer at Point. While there Mike took off his ring to go in the ocean, came back out and put it back on. Looking down he noticed a seagull left him a present on his towell. With wet hands he went to shake off the bird p**p and after sitting down he saw his ring was gone. He tried to find it but with no luck. Luckily the people who he was sitting by were still there so it made it easy to know where he was when he lost it. I started my grid in the area and after 3 passes back and forth I got a good hit on the detector and sure enough after a small scoop of sand there was Mike's ring. Mike couldn't believe I found it so quickly. He gets to go back home with he wedding band back on his finger. Another great ending for all.

Dennis Burlingame .. Recovery 520 at Sea Side NJ. Got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I could do a recovery in Sea Side because he had family plans and couldn't. He sent me Alex's number and I told him I could be there within an hour and he said that would be fine. Alex was enjoying the day at the beach with 3 of his buddies. When shaking his hands to get sand off his wedding ring went flying off into the sand. The 4 of them tried to find it with no luck, that's when 1 of his friends didn't a Google search and found us. He showed me the area he thought the ring should be in but it wasnt there. Then he pointed to another area and still no luck. While turning to try another area my detector coil passed over their towels and in-between 2 of then I got a great signal and after a small scoop of sand, sure enough there was his ring. He was so greatful to get his wedding band back, he didn't have to tell his wife he lost it. Another happy ending.

Dennis Burlingame .. Recovery #519 Engagement Ring Recovered at Long Branch.... Got a call about a lost engagement ring at 7 President Park in Long Branch. Talked to Maria and told her I could be there in 25 minutes if she wanted to wait. She said she would because it was her engagement ring and wasn't going to leave without it. I grabbed my detector and headed out. She met me at the beach and told me her ring was loose so she took it off and put it in her shirt pocket to go down by the water. When she got back to her chair she checked and felt the ring was still there, but awhile later the ring was gone when she went to get it. I checked around the area but didn't here anything, so she moved the chair and still nothing. She had a cooler and I asked if she reached down to get anything from it and she did. We moved the cooler and sure enough I got the perfect signal on the detector and 1 small scoop of sand I had her ring for her. She was so greatful to have it back and the beautiful smile said it all. Another great feeling of giving back.

A few days ago I was contacted by Lily & Brian. While they were enjoying a day at the beach in the ,
Brian felt his wedding ring slip off while in the water. I made plans to meet Brian there the next day when the tide was more in my favor.
After about an hour of searching, I had his ring in my scoop! He was very happy and relieved to get it back. Another happy client!

Yesterday evening, I was contacted by Valentina, referred by Joe Jorgensen of the E.C.R.D.A club and fellow ring finder Dennis Burlingame. After a fun-filled day at the beach in Lavallette with her family including playing slam ball, Valentina realized her gold Cartier ring and diamond ring were missing. I quickly arrived on the scene within 25 minutes. After meeting the family on the beach and searching the general area, I expanded my search and eventually found the Cartier ring near the entrance. The family was thrilled, and shortly after, the diamond ring was also found, just a few feet away, prompting an outburst of joy, hugs, and handshakes. It was a truly fulfilling experience! keepsake wedding band recovered at Ocean Grove NJ. Got a call from fellow member Matty St Germain asking if I could run to Ocean Grove for a lost wedding band. I called Miranda and told her id meet her in about 15 minutes. I got lucky and found a parking spot right on the street where they were on the beach and I walked down and they were waiting for me. Miranda explained that she and others were enjoying the day at the beach when her friend took off her keepsake wedding band handed down from her mother who had passed and placed it in the cup holder on the beach chair and forgot it was there. When they left the beach she remembered but it was to late, the ring was gone. They all went back down to search but had no luck. That when Mirande found us on google. I started to search and wasn't having much luck. Got to the middle of the area where they thought they were and I finally heard the signal tone I was waiting for and after 1 small scoop there was her ring in my scoop. They were so happy and greatful to get their ring back. It's alway a great feeling to give back such a cherish item.

On Sunday evening I saw an email through the The Ring Finders New Jersey website from Regan. While he was swimming at the beach in during high tide in shoulder deep water, He felt his wedding ring slip off. After getting some details from him, I went out there for the night time low tide to do a search. After an hour I heard a good sounding signal from my detector. Just as I thought, It was his ring! He is back in town for work so I met him this morning to return it. He thought it was gone forever. Another happy ending!

Earlier today I came across a post on a local page about a lost gold wedding ring lost this past Friday. I advised Karen to not share exact details about her son's ring due to the sad fact some people with detectors use posts to steal peoples items.
After getting some details I made my way to the beach to search for it. In under an hour I found it! I stopped by Mike's parents house.(Ron and Karen) to drop off the ring since Mike was back home in Syracuse. They were very happy to get it back
Ron was happy to be in the photo accepting Mike's ring on his behalf.
Another Happy Ending!
