If you know me then you know that I do not ask for help. Never have (except Bryon of course). But this past week had taken a huge emotional and physical toll on me. I am not asking for pity. For the most part I love my job, but by Wednesday (my 876th day in a row, jk) I was done. But, I went on with my day and gave my patients 110 percent. I was on my last case and I did something to my left shoulder. It felt pinched I could not lift it above my waist and when I did it would send a pain that would take my breath away. I came home and Bryon helped me with my chores and I went to bed. Around midnight I woke up with my shoulder throbbing no matter what position I would try nothing worked. I just started bawling. I was exhausted and I just wanted sleep. Lets jump to today and the reason for this post. I went out to the barn and Suebird immediately came to the stall door and put her head in my hand. She knew something was wrong with me and I held her head and breathed in her smell. Peace came over me and everything my body and my brain went through the past week no longer mattered. It is not easy to explain it is something you must experience yourself. I want to share this experience with you. I want the horses to reduce your pain and your anxiety and fill you with a sense of hope and renewal. 🐴💖🌈💫🌞

Oh my goodness!!! I am so grateful for days like today. I am enjoying the company of my girls in the barn with only one layer of clothes on!!! It inspires me to get a head start on spring cleaning and pick out gorgeous flowers!! Lol But, I am aware that Old man winter is not ready to let go just yet so I will try to stay patient!!

Looking ahead at my March calendar. All of the Saturdays are booked, but I have 4 Sundays open and days during the week. Let's seize this opportunity to release that stress from the holidays and the weather and spend some rejuvenating time with the horses.

Today's barn time was a powerful reminder of the healing power of nature and connection. Spending time with the girls lifted my spirits and left me feeling refreshed and revitalized.
