Victoria Ingebretsen, CHom, LLC I practice Classical Homeopathy What is Homeopathy? Homeopaths refer to these tiny doses of substances found in our world as “remedies”. Sounds simple right?

Simply put, it’s a system of therapy, based on the concept that “like cures like”.

“Symptoms” can be treated with tiny doses of the very substances that can make said “symptoms”. We can make ourselves whole, by just tapping into the resources that our world has to offer. This planet has some pretty amazing resources!

“Symptoms” are really just our body’s way of letting us know something is not quite right. Homeopathy teaches us that “symptoms” should be acknowledged. We can use a “remedy” to encourage the body to address the “symptom”. Once we address, acknowledge and “fix” the “symptom” our body becomes whole again. Well, here’s the tricky part…symptoms have a peculiar habit of stacking up on top of each other. One symptom can lead to another. An injury or sudden change in your state of mind can add more symptoms too. By the time we notice that we’ve gone astray….we can’t remember where we lost the path in the first place. Our “symptoms”, big or small… are signposts. “Remedies” are the maps that help us find out where we are and how to get back home again. This is where I come in. Think of your Homeopath as a guide to help you find your way home. As a Classically trained Homeopath, my job is to help you understand the pattern of mental, emotional and physical “symptoms” that you may be dealing with. Every “symptom” has a unique way of expressing itself. In other words, your body uses these unique “symptoms” as a form of communication. And rest assured, this is a language that I speak. Together we can identify your unique pattern of “symptoms” and signs and find a “remedy” that matches this unique pattern. With this new “’remedy” map your body can find it’s way home again.

I discovered homeopathy in 2002 when my son was 2 years old. He was a very sick child and no doctor could diagnose or relieve any of his symptoms. We had tried everything when a co-worker suggested homeopathy. I knew nothing about it so I went to the library and checked out the only book my library....
