The day Savannah met Ka-Cedar Musgraves ❤ (A Western Red Cedar)
True Love!
And true story, almost all of our trees are named after celebrities, mostly musicians, but we have a lot of trees now!
In the background here you can see BrunOak Mars (an Oregon White Oak) and Lamarcus Alderidge (A Red Alder). Hiding behind KaCedar is Chris Mapleton (A big Leaf Maple)!
Come on out and meet our trees! They love visitors, and we love help naming them!

In just one day we managed to find so many ways to use the wood chip pile!
We threw sticks off of it, paper airplanes, we experimented with different ways to fill the wheelbarrow, Owen helped spread chips on a new path, we pulled 'swords' from 'stone,' and we used it to prop up our mini golf course!
And this is just a small portion of the fun we had at camp! More pictures coming soon!
The kids asked that we have another chip pile at our next 'day-off camp.'

We're growing for you Part 3! The exterior walls are on and the full back wall (non-sunny side) is up too. So far this project has used completely up cycled wood except for the back wall. We are proud to be able to make this project a reality, and an affordable one at that. Looking forward to showing you the finished project soon!
