✨️ Psychache" is a term to describe the unbearable psychological pain that builds inside a person until they have lost all HOPE that tomorrow will be any different.

✨️ For most people who die by su***de, death is not about a wanting to die - it is about ending the pain.

✨️ Psychache is the reason the upcoming annual Mental Health Fair sponsored by BoroSafe is called "Hope for Tomorrow." This year's event will take place on Thursday, May 14th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm @ the Hillsborough Municipal Building.

✨️ All our welcome! Please stop by to visit resource tables from dozens of local organizations that support mental wellness across the lifespan and spread awareness about su***de prevention.

✨️ In addition, there will be free dinner and refreshments, games, giveaways and prizes, courtesy of the Hillsborough Education Association. For more information, visit our website at borosafe.org.

✨️ Note: this article contains important but sensitive information regarding su***de and may not be suitable for all readers. If you or someone you know is thinking of su***de, please reach out to a trusted person or call/text 988 for immediate assistance.

For su***de loss survivors, understanding why someone dies by su***de matters deeply. Learn what "psychache" is and what it means for your grief and guilt.
