One thing you'll hear me say to my clients time and time again is, "What are you doing on the days you're not training that are helping you towards your fitness goals?"
Every day we have an opportunity to make a deposit. It doesn't have to be just relative to fitness. It can be about any goal you have your eyes set on. Each day, if we do something towards our goal, we are essentially making a "deposit" towards our master plan. Each day, the deposit amounts may vary, but as long as you're making them, big or small is all that matters.
The key is to not make too many withdrawals on your overall goal. What we must avoid is constantly having a zero balance or being overdrawn. Each day, do something towards your goal. Continue to make daily deposits, and you'll be where you need to in no time. However, if you make a deposit 2 or 3 times a week when you know for a fact it requires more, don't be shocked that you're always at a zero balance or worse.
The secret lies in you. You!!!! Get off you're butt, do something towards your goal today. Big or small, every deposit counts.
