Let’s talk about product images for a second- before I was a jewelry artist, I loved photography & design. I even turned designing websites and digital content into my career. Images and photos are a huge part of my job & over time, I couldn’t help but notice a lot of technical steps that other creators are missing before posting their stuff. Most of these steps are actually so simple and could level up the digital display of your work by so much. I know there are so many questions out there so I’m going to start hosting monthly tutorials on best digital design practices(a lot of it is going to be REAL technical tips and not just color theory, fonts, motivational fluff). I’m starting with images because it’s how we present ourselves to the world and I know you guys need some help! Making jewelry is something I’ve loved since I was very very young but today, product photography is one of my favorite parts of the creativity process. It’s when my ideas and vision becomes a unified reality that others can see. It makes me feel a huge sense of relief when I can take the artistic clutter filling my mind and accurately represent how I experience my passion for this to others. I feel at ease sharing a little piece of who I am with others. Photography has been a big passion of mine since I was young and I’m so glad I never gave it up. It’s one of the things that helps me forget about everything and just be happy in the moment. Hoping to have a lot more photography in my life in the future.
