Offering Reiki in Hilo, Hawaii
Reiki comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning Universal, and Ki, meaning Life Force Energy. Life Force Energy flows through all living beings. It may be called chi (Chinese); ki (Japanese); prana (Indian); chai (Hebrew); and innate intelligence (English). In any language, it refers to the power of the intelligently designed body to come into harmonious balance naturally.
Some of the results Reiki can produce are, it alleviates pain, reduces stress, supports recovery from addictions, promotes deep emotional healing, balances the energy system, brings peace to troubled minds, accelerates physical healing, brings deep and restful sleep, and supports allopathic and holistic treatments.
Reiki was first brought out of Japan by Mrs. Hawayo Takata. She opened her first clinic in Hilo, Hawaii in 1939, and practiced there until 1950. She initiated (trained) the first Reiki Masters outside of Japan during those 11 years, and those people are the ones who carried on the lineage to all the rest of us who are now offering it. It is my honor to offer it here in Hilo.
