Spring Training Looks a Little Different at Pearl ⚾

Baseball fans know that spring training is where champions rebuild strength and stamina for the season ahead. For Ronnie “Woo Woo” Wickers at The Pearl of Evanston, recovery is his season and pulmonary rehabilitation is part of his training plan. If you know Chicago baseball, you know Ronnie's energy and love of the game have inspired fans for years. Today, he’s channeling that same determination into rebuilding endurance and strength through pulmonary rehab.

And while Ronnie’s story is unfolding in Evanston, the same commitment to personalized pulmonary rehabilitation and recovery happens every day across the Pearl Healthcare family. Just like athletes preparing for Opening Day, our care teams work alongside patients to improve lung function, restore stamina, and help them return to the moments that matter most.
