So good! And, so easy to make. 😋
🌮Bring our Heritage Bison Ranches bison tongue to a boil and simmer for 2-3 hours, or in the crock pot with a little water on low all day with your favorite seasonings. Try Onion, Garlic, Bay Leaves, Peppercorns, Margoram, Thyme, Oregano, All Spice, Salt & Pepper.
🦬Once slightly cool, peel the outer layer of the tongue and cut the back of the tongue off where it attaches to the bison's mouth.
🌮Slice thinly across the grain and lightly fry the meat in some bison tallow made from our Heritage Bison Ranches bison fat. You just melt the fat and strain it three times thru a fine mesh screen and you've got tallow.
