The Rolling Thunder Book Bus will be in the library parking lot on Thursday, July 9th from 1-2PM! Books are targeted for grades K-5th, but every child who shows up will get a book!

For our final day of Nurse's Week we would like to introduce Sydney, MA!

Sydney is originally from Thomas, Oklahoma and currently lives in Weatherford, Oklahoma with her 1-year-old daughter, Stella, and dog, Coca.

After earning her phlebotomy certification at Northwest School of Phlebotomy, she began working as a Medical Assistant at Thomason Medical. She is passionate about caring for others and is excited to continue growing in the medical field!

Today we would like to introduce you to Giselle, MA.

Giselle is originally from Arlington, Texas but grew up in Hinton, Oklahoma. She attended Caddo Kiowa Technology Center and got her Phlebotomy and Long Term Care Aide Certification. She is currently attending classes at Southwest Oklahoma State University.

Giselle is passionate about helping others and is excited to continue growing her skills in the medical field as a medical assistant. Outside of work Giselle likes shopping and spending time with her family!

Today we would like to introduce Kelly Cooper, MA!

Kelly Cooper is from the Eakly/Lookeba-Sickles area. Kelly has been in the medical field most of her adult life. Kelly joined Thomason Medical in July 2022.

She and her husband, Chad, live in the Binger area. They have two children, both are happily married, along with 3 handsome grandsons that keep them busy. They will also be welcoming a grand-daughter in May.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, as well as shopping and baking (and eating of course). Kelly’s accuracy, compassion for patients, and ability to draw blood are just a few of her amazing qualities she brings to TMC.

Today, we are excited to introduce Rachel Brown, LPN!

Rachel has been a nurse for 10 years with most of her experience being in Family Practice. Nursing has been a passion for Rachel since the birth of her youngest daughter. Rachel has 2 beautiful girls, whom she loves spending time with. When not at work, you can find Rachel shopping or at the lake!

In celebration of National Nurses Week, we’ll be spotlighting a member of our amazing nursing team each day! 💙 We are so grateful for the compassion and dedication they show our patients at Thomason Medical Clinic.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Devin Herbert, our Lead Nurse!

Devin Herbert is originally from Apache, Oklahoma, and moved to Hinton in 2020 after marrying her husband, Chad. She graduated from nursing school at Caddo-Kiowa Technology Center in 2014 and has worked in the medical field since 2006, serving as a nurse for over a decade.

Throughout her nursing career, Devin has gained experience in the emergency room, urgent care, and pediatrics, and has also served as Director of Nursing for a multi-specialty clinic. She joined TMC in January 2022 and continues to bring dedication and compassion to her work every day.

Devin is a proud mother of three—Trace, Hayes, and Jewel—and enjoys staying active in her community. She is involved with Hinton First Baptist Church, attends her children’s sporting events, and values time spent with her husband, family, and friends. In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and gardening.

Devin has a deep passion for caring for others, especially the citizens of Hinton. She values the opportunity to serve her community through quality rural healthcare and takes pride in working in the town she calls home. She is grateful to be part of a team at TMC that genuinely cares about both patients and employees, and she appreciates being part of such a supportive and close-knit community.
