It might seem odd to talk about seeds with snow all over the ground, but that is exactly what we are doing this weekend!
Join us on Saturday, January 18th, to learn about and create your own winter sowing jug. Sowing seeds in winter is a great way to provide the cold stratification that our native plants need to germinate and can be used with other seed types as well. Native plants are vital to our local pollinators' survival. Incorporating even a few into your home landscape can make a big impact!
We will provide seeds and soil for this program, please bring any transparent or translucent jug or bottle. Milk jugs work great, and you can also use clear soda bottles or vinegar bottles. Check your recycling for a clean container that you can use to start your own native plants!
This is an indoor program. Please register to reserve your spot on our Things To Do page! https://bit.ly/3CbgWzI
