Testimonial Tuesday! (we just made that up)
'I started going to PPT: Hockessin after I had the worst & longest pain flare-up of my life, nothing I did helped to calm it- except for rest. Worse yet, I didn't have any idea why my "regular" pain branched off so severely like it did because I hadn't done anything unusual to cause it. See, I already live with chronic pain throughout my spine (which branches off and causes other problems to my extremities etc.) I'm with pain management, I take my life one day at a time, but with this pain I could hardly walk at all. My "regular" right-side lumbar pain, which radiates into my buttock and goes down my leg/feet, has now crossed over into my hip- through to my groin area, making it impossible for me to put any constant pressure on it. Time, which I gave plenty of waiting for it to heal, mixed with exercise did not help to fix whatever was wrong and it was time for me to seek professional help and my pain doctor agreed.

This time, I had done my own research to find the right "physical therapy" place that would be the best for me and I thank God, literally, it was PPT that I had decided on!!! As always, I was a little nervous before my first appointment, hoping I'd feel exactly what their previous patients felt, after reading their many reviews on how they got real help from therapists that really care. ❤️

Please meet Kelly Talley! She is our new Front Desk Receptionist in Hockessin. Kelly is a Delaware native who spent 30 years teaching elementary students. After retirement, she worked at Williams Sonoma until they closed. Kelly brings a lot of experience to her new position here at PPT. More importantly, she is an Eagles and Phillies fan! 🦅 Welcome aboard Kelly!

Joanna will be treating patients in our Hockessin clinic, starting today!
Joanna earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2009, following a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware. She brings a compassionate, well-rounded approach to care. As an endurance athlete, Joanna has completed marathons, Ironman triathlons, and adventure races, giving her firsthand insight into injury prevention, recovery, and performance.
